Omi's Visit!

We had such an awesome visit with Omi! Ben was so excited to see her at the airport that he cried because he couldn't get to her fast enough. He stayed right by her side for the next couple of days. He even let her put him to bed, which is very unusual because it is always mama's turn to do that. Omi played trains, cars, Bob the Builders, read books, went on walks and made trips to the park. Ben truly enjoyed all the attention!

While Omi was here we took a road trip up to Orange Beach, Alabama to stay in a Condo for a week with my Mom's sisters and my cousins. Aunt Autumn, Omi, Mommy and Ben drove 8 hours and had a blast in the car. We were right on the beach and it was such a nice place. Ben swam the entire week in the Gulf and the 2 pools. We had a nice relaxing visit with everyone. It was so good to spend time with family. Ben had a lot of fun playing with his older cousins. They had grown so much since the last time we saw them.

After our road trip, we had one more week to hang out at home with Omi before she headed back to Texas. We spent the week doing all kinds of things. Omi got to see Ben do a photo session. He did so well and was such a ham. I think he was showing off for her. Omi got to go with Mommy and Ben to hear Baby V's heartbeat! Which was strong and very loud!!! She took Ben to Pump it Up and to Mini Golf and Go-cart riding! Mommy forgot the camera and didn't get the pictures of Omi's face going around the track!!! I will say it was priceless. We did some shopping and Omi cooked some great meals for us! We had a blast!

Omi was also able to let Jeff and I go out a few times to see movies and to eat dinner! We also got to go out and celebrate Jeff's big promotion at work!!! Hurray!!!! Yes! Finally Jeff got the job of Superintendent of Duran Golf Course!!! We are so proud and thrilled! This means that we don't have to relocate anymore! It couldn't have come at a better time. Jeff is so happy and has such a love for this course. He helped build and grow it in and it means a lot to him to be able to stay on.

Thank you Omi for coming to visit us! We loved spending time with you and can't wait to see you again at Christmas! We love you and miss you very much! Hope everyone enjoys seeing how much fun we had! Take Care!
